What is a creator vault?

A creator vault is an ERC-4626 strategy vault built around a creator coin. Fans deposit the underlying creator coin and receive vault share tokens (▢) and tradable shares (■). The wrapper locks 1000 ▢ per 1 ■. Private beta on Base. AKITA is the live vault. New creator deploys are waitlisted.

How is a creator vault different from holding a creator coin?

A creator coin in a wallet is idle. A creator vault routes that coin into onchain strategies — for example, lending markets, concentrated liquidity, or cross-chain positions — and gives depositors a transferable ERC-4626 share token in return. Strategy outcomes are variable and may be zero or negative.
